Teaneck New Theatre (TNT)­­—in association­­ with The Hackensack Cultural Arts Center (HCAC)—presents the Mercury Theatre on the Air Presentation of H.G. Wells’ War of the Worlds, radio adaptation by Howard Koch.

The pre- and post-broadcast segments were written by Dominick di Rienzi of Ridgefield. Hackensack resident Gregory Liosi directs. War of the Worlds, the fourth outing of TNT’s 22nd season, takes the stage from October 17 to November 2. Curtain times are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., and Sundays at 3:00 p.m.

Saturday morning on Oct. 18, Nov. 15 and Dec. 20 (more dates to be added) at 11 a.m., Jewish Educator Wendy Rapport will engage families with children between 3 months and 5 years old in a special "Tot Shabbat" time of stories, singing, snacks and schmoozing. This is an opportunity for both members and non-members to enjoy Shabbat with their families.

Rapport holds a BA in religious studies from Indiana University and a joint MA in Near Eastern and Judaic studies and Jewish communal service with a concentration in education from Brandeis University’s Hornstein Program. She previously served as the family educator and director of family and religious education at Temple Emanu-El in Atlanta, Georgia.
